Introduction

Hot Spot is created for photographers, travelers, creators and people who just wanna find great spot to create epic content. And for those who may consider your preparation process as frustration. Iňll say that hot spot can be an extremely useful tool for you to get great spots in an easy way.

The idea actually came from my own experience in previous photo shot process. Whenever I travel to a new city, I prefer not to spend my time on those tourist attractions with crowds and stereotype shooting angle. Instead, I hope that I could find a local photographer who knows well about all the city hidden locations with stunning views and help me plan my photo trip according to the distance between different spots.

Try to imagine if you are planning your next-day photo trip in London, you come across a few stunning images shot on few rooftops on instagram. With no location tag, you may need to browse hundreds of comment or rely on Google satellite map, even search through several blogs and unreliable travel guides to find out exact locations. Once I know these places, I have to schedule my trip according to the spots distributions by setting pins on google map one-by-one. It is quite a frustrated and time-consuming process. Therefore, Hot Spot can be a extremely useful tool for our users to get great spots in a more easy way.

The navigation bar is divided into 4 parts:

LOCATION Main city and spots content inside this tag.

EXPLORE You can see 3 daily featured spots selected by our editors with the amazing views. And also some random recommendations for you to look through.

SPOT MAP is the core function of this app. You can see that each pin represents a spot in London area. Tap on a pin the detail of this location will jump up. And if you click this bar at the bottom you will jump to the spot page I showed just now.

MY PROFILE Settings, notifications and other personal infos are displayed here. The content of Spots button is quite differentdepending on whether you are a contributor or just a regular user. If you are a contributor, you can submit your spot and earn some money. If you are not, we warmly welcome you to apply for out spots explorer.

Finding spots is the main function of this app. Hot Spot selects 7 of the worlds coolest cities(London, Beijing, New York, Paris, Singapore, Hong Kong, San Francisco) at the start-up stage and more in the future. And all these cities plates make up to the ‘Explore Page’ with search bars, which is the first level main page as well.

On the top right corner, you can see two buttons that can categorize these spots by grid or list defined by your preference. On the horizontal scroll bar, there are 7 types of the spots. If you would like to see some Landmark photos, you can just browse spots in this specific theme.

Save favorite spots and plan your photo trip on SPOT MAP To simplify the searching process via multiple sources, ‘spot map’ function can save the locations you want to visit and pin them on your own Spot Map with a banner of descriptions. And the thumbnail images of your spotted places will appear on the bottom corresponding to the pins In this way, you can easily plan your photo trip. According to the spots distribution and travel to your next destination with google map route whenever you are ready.
